I am a lucky person.

When was strolling with Sadie yesterday, I saw a nice sunset.

















Then a thought came to my mind.

Now I have everything that I wanted in life:

A partner.

A decent job.

Free time.

Freedom to live the way I want.

I also have Sadie as my family, which I did not even expect.

I am grateful.

I want to always remember how lucky I am.

Happy dog

Sadie is a happy dog.

She loves eating and walking.

She also loves playing and being with people.


When I am with Sadie, I often see what happiness looks like.

She is so precious.

My favorite tree

This is my favorite tree in my neighborhood.
















I feel happy whenever I am near this tree.

When I saw it today, it had a strong motherly presence.

It was there like it was supposed to.

It was willing to embrace me as always.

One day I would like to be as big as this tree.

A hawk in the sky

This weekend I saw a hawk flying in the beautiful blue sky.

It looks like it was just floating and enjoying the nice day.

















I wondered what it would feel like to fly like that.

So I closed my eyes, and spread my arms.

Then I started to move my body like the hawk.

Sadie started to bark at me, so I had to stop after 20 seconds or so.

But, it felt so nice.

Synchronicity

I used to be an enthusiastic student of calligraphy, but quit it about 30 years ago.

Recently my friend posted photos of her sutra-copying on fb, which I found fascinating.

While reading a book by Emoto Masaru, I felt like writing some nice words with a brush.

Last week, I felt drawn to an art supply store, so went there to check out brushes.

Today I came across a posting about a calligraphy workshop in Worcester, Mass.
















Synchronicity!

I might as well get a calligraphy set and see what happens.

Taking action promptly

I have two laptop computers.

One is an old laptop, and the other is a new one I purchased recently.

The new laptop came with a free anti-virus program.

This anti-virus program was to expire on October 31.

I dreaded the idea of having to pay for another anti-virus program.

The day came when the free anti-virus program would expire.

I decided to get Norton's product as I did for my old laptop.

So, I contacted Norton, and was told that I did not have to pay anything.

They said that their product could be installed on up to two computers.

If I had just contacted Norton sooner, I did not need to dread anything at all.

Grandmother

My grandmother was a grateful person, and was always smiling

I am grateful for all the love and support I received from her.

She is a good role model for me.

I feel she is still around me, and feel so blessed.

Water crystals

I am reading a book about water by Emoto Masaru now.

This book shows various images of water crystals.





















These beautiful water crystals were photographed after shown words of gratitude.






















These two water crystals had received words meaning "wisdom" in English and German.

It shows how important it is to always use positive words.

Animals

This morning I found videos about a funny cat called Maru on youtube.

I watched dozens of them.  This comical cat made me laugh and laugh.



Now I am back home and enjoying the company of Sadie, my very loving beagle.

Animals have so much to give to us humans.

My first yoga class

I had my first yoga class today.

I was the only one who showed up, so it was a private class!

The instructor's name was Melissa, and she was very good.

She showed each pose in the way I could follow, and she did make me work hard.

One of the poses I liked was pigeon pose.







It was a little difficult, but I think I managed to do it OK.

I hope to take her class again sometime soon.

Take a deep breath

I felt anxious this afternoon, so I took a deep breath.



















I paid attention to my breathing and kept breathing deeply.

After 10 minutes or so, I found myself feeling OK.

I didn't even need to know why I was feeling anxious.

I want to remember to do this whenever I feel anxious.
